ie - you can attend into padi instructor examination
After you have completed all segments in Your PADI IDC and earned passing scores in Your teaching presentations.
You can choose any of IE´s conducted, but it is very common to make IDC and continue it with IE. Then YOU are still in IDC mode and everything is fresh in your mind.
I have schedualed my Phi Phi IDCs so that IE follows ammidiately
